Wanlip Parish Plan

The idea of producing a Parish Plan for Wanlip was discussed at a Parish Meeting in May 2004. The idea was endorsed by the Parish Meeting and, with the support of the Rural Community Council, a Parish Plan Steering Group made up of 14 villagers was formed later that year.

The Wanlip Parish Plan was formally launched and adopted by the Parish Meeting in September 2005. It will remain a ‘living document’ and will be the main focus for all village activities and development.
